Gina I heard your recent sermon and just wanted to say “thank you” for all you are doing in the name of Jesus for the Kingdom of heaven is for such as these.
Your message was truth, and how beautiful it was to hear those words spoken in a way that teaches both young and old how much God wants us to know Him.
May He bless your ministry abundantly and may each precious heart you have in your ministry be open, ready, and excited to know about our great and mighty God!

Love this sermon… especially when you use the verse 1Peter 5:7… I have that verse memorized. During my trials and times of a single mom… that verse gave me alot of peace. Peace – serenity – that is having victory in this life here on earth. You are on such a right track with your sermons… They have been such a blessing !!

I still listen to the CD’s from the church in Burbank! They still inspire me now as they did the first time I heard them! You are a wonderful speaker. Is there anyway to get current recordings! You may remember me as I was the only one that road to church in a bright yellow Mazda MX5 on Sunday mornings with the top down! This was late 2005 or early 2006! Bless you!

Pastor Rick was also my pastor in Burbank! I was seperated from the Lord because I let my work take priority in my life! When I met Pastor Rick and I experienced the power that was in his house of God, I was swept away and still to this day and forever more, will “always” have the lord with me in my life and in my work as I travel! Thank you Rick for showing me my way back! I miss that time but forever hold that time close in my heart! God bless you and your family Pastor Rick!

Pastor Rick was my pastor in Burbank. I was so blessed to find this podcast, he is definitely anointed! This was a word that I needed to hear. Gina, The message God gave you for North Rock Church has reached me in Boise, Idaho during a very challenging time in my life. I am the second of four children of Tom and Anita Edwards, members of your body. Dad suggested I listen to this message…once again, I’m glad I took his advice. My husband and I relocated our family to Idaho two years ago along with two other families from north metro Denver and a couple from S. California to start a new church canyonridgeboise.com. The church has seen success in numbers, but not what was expected and my husband was “laid off” due to lack of funding in May. It has been deeply disappointing on many fronts, and we now are scrambling to find a job to sustain our family here. On the other hand, we are in a very good position to re-evaluate our goals and ministry aspirations. I have been in ministry a good part of my childhood, and my entire adult life. The story of Jehoshaphat interwoven with your personal testimony has encouraged me greatly. Thank you for your courage and transparency. Great message. God is going to do something wonderful at Northrock. Trust is so hard to do but God is always there… I love your story about the car accident. Couldn’t help it but I just laughed thinking about the chili everywhere.

I was in SF celebrating my sister’s 50th birthday when you did this message (also, my mother’s bday ; who has been with our Lord for 10 years now) 10 years ago after burying our mother I went back to church and heard James 1:2. I couldn’t imagine I was suppose to hear “consider it all JOY” – What? really,??? I just loss my mother and my siblings were struggling. Yes, I do beleive our Lord refined me… and here I am going through more struggles… and I know HE will refine me again… wow, can’t wait to see what He will do now. Glad I was able to listen to this message over the internet. Thank you ! Awesome message ; thanks for the reminder! Look forward to hearing more messages on the internet.

Stepping back to look at the whole picture, I want to say that Pastor Bob Andrade did and is doing an excellent job with an emergency step-in. He took this on and even when he needed time to grieve for his loved one, he continued forward and kept NorthRock going forward. I know that the majority census is that this little church in Thornton is still A’HOPPIN’. You’ve been more than duly covered Pastor Rick!
